Easy Cinnamon
Sugar Pecans

If you're like me, this is one of your favorite times of the year! I love being around friends family, and especially food! This time of year makes me think of ham, cakes, cookies, and pies (I also feel like I've gained 10 pounds just thinking about them.)
One of the items I look forward to the most is a snack or holiday treat that we don't typically have throughout the year; Candied Roasted Nuts. Whether they are almonds, pecans, cashews, or just the simple peanut, they are great treats to enjoy. They also make for wonderful gifts to give to your neighbors and coworkers.
Ingredients
1 Egg White
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
5 Cups Pecan Halves, Raw Unsalted

1. Mix the wet ingredients together
2. Whip the egg whites to a soft peak.
3. Add in the pecans slowly, roughly one-third at a time.
4. Mix the dry ingredients separately.
5. Add the pecans again and toss, making sure everything gets coated
6. Spread pecans onto a greased, but unlined baking sheet
7. Heat oven to 250 degrees and bake for one hour, stirring every 15 min.
8. Let cool and store in a sealed container for prolonged enjoyment
