Ingredients
Fall Brown Betty Apple Recipe
10 Cups apples,unpeeled and cored and sliced
½ cup white sugar
1 tablespoon whole wheat white flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
½ cup apple cider or bourbon
1 cup quick oats
1cup whole wheat white flour
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup walnuts
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup melted salted butter

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Place apples in a 10" Cast Iron Skillet with sugar.
3. Add 1 tbsp Flour, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and combine with Apples.
4. Pour Cider or Bourbon over this mixture evenly.
5. Combine Oats, 1 Cup of Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Walnuts, and Melted Butter
6. Crumble Evenly over Apple Mixture
7. Bake at 350 Degrees for 45 min. Can be served with Fresh Whipped Cream
